The Erewhon Market app, <a href="https://www.delve.com/work/erewhon-market-luxury-app-experience" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">designed by Delve</a>, has been nominated for a 2025 <a href="https://vote.webbyawards.com/PublicVoting#/2025/apps-software/general-apps/shopping-retail" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Webby People’s Voice Award</a> in the Shopping & Retail App category, recognizing its standout experience design, refined brand expression, and personalized features, and affirming <a href="https://erewhon.com/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Erewhon’s</a> position in premium retail and <a href="https://www.delve.com/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Delve’s</a> strength in digital product design.
The <a href="https://www.webbyawards.com/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Webby Awards</a> are among the most prestigious honors in digital design, recognizing innovation, usability, and creative excellence across the internet. A nomination in the Shopping & Retail App category recognizes that the Erewhon app rises above the rest—not just among grocery apps, but across the broader digital retail landscape.
Erewhon partnered with Delve to reimagine its mobile experience with a bold goal: make the app feel as intentional, curated, and sensory-rich as the in-store experience. The app is built to support real-world shopping moments, whether browsing in-store, picking up a single item, or placing a full delivery order. Behind the scenes, intuitive features like personalized recommendations, member perks, and seamless checkout keep the experience simple, responsive, and on-brand.

Delve approached the work in two strategic phases—first, we defined Erewhon’s member experience and digital design system, applying our deep eCommerce expertise. Then, through iterative design sprints, we rapidly refined and expanded the experience. The final product pairs visual storytelling with practical functionality, creating an experience that feels both elevated and effortless.

“The goal wasn’t just to make a grocery app. It was to create a digital version of Erewhon’s unique and luxurious brand experience,” said Christine Pillsbury, Senior Director of Digital Product Innovation at Delve. “This wasn’t just about checking off functional requirements. We had to elevate the experience across every detail, from the intentional hyper-zoom on the fresh food onboarding screen to AI-driven recommendations based on each shopper’s behaviors and preferences.” 
The Erewhon app received a <a href="https://design.museaward.com/winner-info.php?id=21805" target="_blank">2024 Silver MUSE Design Award</a> for product design in the lifestyle category. Its recent Webby nomination builds on that momentum—and on Delve’s growing strength in digital product design, especially in helping brands create seamless, meaningful experiences that bridge the physical and digital. Voting for the Webby People’s Voice Awards is open through April 17.
