Delve, a leading product innovation firm, is proud to announce that it will host this year’s <a href="https://www.healthdesignlab.com/jeffsolves" target="_blank">JeffSolves Medtech</a>&nbsp;Pitch Night at its Philadelphia studio. This event showcases the brightest student minds in medical technology, providing a platform for innovative solutions that tackle pressing healthcare challenges.

JeffSolves is a transformative program founded by Thomas Jefferson University to support and elevate student-led medtech initiatives. It connects aspiring innovators with industry leaders and resources, fostering a culture of creativity and collaboration. By empowering students to develop their ideas into real-world applications, JeffSolves plays a pivotal role in advancing medtech solutions that ultimately improve patient care and outcomes. 
Now in its ninth year, JeffSolves Medtech unites students and faculty from across the Jefferson community to address urgent healthcare challenges. Through close collaboration with Jefferson clinicians at various Health sites, students conduct thorough user research, identify key problems, and transform these insights into commercially viable innovations. The intensive product development process is guided by mentor-experts from Thomas Jefferson University, Jefferson Health, and Delve.

The program has already led to the development of a wide range of innovative healthcare solutions, including these from previous years: 

<ul><li>LineUp—an organizational tool that reduces the frequency of IV-line tangles by shortening the length of excess IV lines and keeping them off the floor.</li><li>TeleComfort—a redesign of holders for mobile cardiac telemetry devices that enhances adaptability and user comfort.</li><li>SoloGo—a toilet paper dispenser designed to be both compact and adjustable in the confined space of the hospital bathroom for patients of all functional levels.</li><li>NursePOD—A mobile workstation that inspires personalization and maximizes comfort but doesn’t compromise functionality.</li><li>Motivity—an IV system intended for easier ambulation that improves patient and nursing experience, safety and utility.</li><li>Acclivity—a securement system that prevents disoriented patients from pulling out their IVs.</li></ul>
At Pitch Night on October 10, 2024, this year's&nbsp;multidisciplinary teams will present their final medical design innovations. This hybrid event, hosted by Delve, will showcase two teams' co-designed concepts, with attendees welcome to join either in-person or virtually. 
Through its ongoing support and mentorship, Delve is proud to play an integral role in advancing product innovation and nurturing the next generation of healthcare leaders, driving impactful solutions that will shape the future of medtech.
